Help us make a difference
The project increases income-generating activities in Southern Maniema, a region in the centre of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, through vegetable growing, beekeeping and a tailoring workshop. It is run with the local partner Union des Communautés Rurales pour le Développement Intégré (UCRDI), based in Kasongo.
- Phase 1 — launch of vegetable growing, beekeeping and tailoring activities (Otto per Mille funding of about €13,000, then €30,235)
- Phase 2 — consolidation and expansion of the activities (budget €36,994)
In 2020, during the pandemic, the same partner received a small contribution from AVEC-PVS for Covid-19 awareness and prevention activities.
